Well done to all of our Stars of the Week: Ismaeel, Aaliyah, Faliha, Maleeha, Jannat and Ash and Willow classes! The children all tried their best whether it was in their work or performing for their parents in their year group assembly! We are proud of you all – keep it up!
Year 5 were visited by the residents of Brackenhill Court this morning as part of the Intergenerational linking project. We have been exchanging letters and cards since September, so it was lovely to finally meet in person! We were able to ask lots of questions and find out about their lives. We hope we can visit them at Brackenhill Court soon! #intergenerationallinking #newfriends #brackenhillcourt
Last week, Year 5 decided to hold a Wild West day to celebrate the end of their Come Fly With Me: America topic. They dressed up as cowboys and cowgirls and spent the afternoon practising their line dancing steps! Yee-hah! #dimensions #steps #linedancing
Well done Jeevan, Fatiha, Umme, Maira, Maizah and Hanzalah! All of you have worked incredibly hard this week and earned your Star of the Week certificates! Well done and keep it up.
We have started 2024 with a visit from Alex Fellows this week. Children took part in the Benin Era workshop where they used drama to explore what life was like living in the Benin Period.
