This week Spruce class had a fantastic time decorating a biscuit so we can write instructions. We rehearsed the steps with actions. First, we added water to the icing. Next, we mixed in food colouring. Then we spread the icing on the biscuit. Finally, we decorated it with sprinkles! This was really fun! This linked with our learning on instructions in English. We learned about bossy verbs so we can use them in our instructions. We have started writing our instructions. We have written the title, introduction and ingredients. These are tricky words so we spent a lot of time practising.
