As part of our Diwali day, we looked at the importance of Siblings’ Day (Bhai Dooj) and why it is important that we recognise and honour our siblings.
We also looked at the Hindu festival of Raksha Bandhan, where sisters tie a rakhi (an ornate bracelet) on their brothers’ wrists, and sisters receive a gift from their brothers.
We decided to make our own bracelets that we could give to our siblings or loved ones, to show them that we love and respect each other.
