Week Commencing: 03.10.22
Year Group: 4
Class: Cedar
In groups, the children were making circuits using the Science equipment. The children had to see how many different circuits they could make using the equipment. They had to test the circuits they made and see how they could improve them by adding more equipment.
This is part of the Science unit of Electricity taught in the Dimensions curriculum.
Children are to know how to construct a simple series electrical circuit and demonstrate this, identifying and naming its basic parts, including cells, wires, bulbs, switches and buzzers. They also need to identify whether or not a lamp will light in a simple series circuit based on whether or not the lamp is part of a complete loop with a battery.
