This week Oak class children have been learning the text ‘Me on the Map’ by Joan Sweeney. This inspired us to view our school street called Dracup Road. We went on a walk and saw lots of different things such as houses, house numbers, trees, paths, bins, cars, roads etc. We also saw car park signs and road markings such as the zebra crossing and yellow double lines. We discussed what they mean and why they are so important for everyone’s safety. We had so much fun!
